Tommy is a lifelong native of the LaGrange and Troup county area. He attended LaGrange High School and LaGrange College. He is co-owner and operator of a family grading and paving business since 1978.
Tommy attends Baptist Tabernacle Church, where he is an active deacon, choir director and commander of the AWANA Youth Ministry. He also works with teens and adults with addictions to chemical substances. He is a member of Elm City Lodge, LaGrange Shrine Club and Yaarah Temple in Atlanta.
Tommy and his wife also volunteer with West Georgia Hospice, Georgia Special Olympics, and Habitat for Humanity.
