Alynda moved to LaGrange from South Georgia in 1987 with a BS in Education/Home Economics from Georgia Southern University. In 1990 after teaching at LaGrange High School, she joined her husband Jared in the timber and land development business. For the next ten years, Jared and Alynda worked together in the Troup County area developing many land projects. After helping to start what is now J.T. Jones and Associates Realty in 2001, Alynda obtained her real estate license. She received the Lifetime Professional Achievement Award in 2007 and is currently serving as the Troup County Board of Realtors Vice President. Alynda and Jared have 3 children and are very committed to the community and public life in LaGrange.
